Join Three Bees at the Mc Henry County Farm Stroll on Broadview Farm and Gardens from 10:00-4:00.

Broadview Farm and Gardens is home to 12 of our beehives. This is an opportunity to see and learn more about what we do up close and in person.

There is no charge, However, bring some cash as individual farmers will be selling products and produce. (Check the discussion for a copy of the brochure with a full list of participating farms.)

Three Bees will have our observation hive with bees for you to safely view bees up close and in person.

You will also have an opportunity to shop with us and pick up all your farmers market favorites. Check the discussion group for updates on sales and specials.

10:30-11:00 - Story time with bees - Hear a story and learn about bees (ages 2-6)

11:00-12:00 - Meet the Bees - Discussion about bees, why they matter and how you can help. (all ages)

1:00 - 2:00 - Home Health from the hive A beehive is a medicine chest. Learn about Apitherapy, what is it? Get to know the healing  benefits of honey, and all the other medicinal products found in a beehive and how to use them.

2:00 - 3:00 - So you wanna be a 'keeper? Have you thought about keeping bees? Learn some of the basics to getting started with bees.
