A Beekeeping Operation with Heart

Founded in 2014 with just three hives in unincorporated Elgin, Three Bees Honey Farms LLC has grown into a full-service beekeeping operation with over 40 thriving colonies across Illinois and Wisconsin.

We raise our bees using all-organic methods, and are currently seeking Certified Naturally Grown certification. Our long-term vision includes a regenerative teaching farm with 100 hives, apitherapy programs, and accessible,
hands-on education.

We believe in good health straight from the hive and make use of all the bi-products from the hive.

Meet Konni Vukelic

Beekeeper • Educator • Advocate

Konni has been keeping bees for over a decade and mentoring beekeepers for nearly as long. She believes bees are our best teachers—and the hive, a source of ancient wisdom and wellness.

Whether she’s leading a workshop, mentoring a new beekeeper, or speaking at a community event,

Konni’s mission is clear:
To help others connect with the hive, grow in confidence, and reclaim their health—naturally.

We’re proud to partner with organic farmers in Streamwood, Huntley, Union, Marengo, Woodstock, and now and now also Belleville and Verona Wisconsin—placing small numbers of hives to support biodiversity and ensure overwintering success.
