Meet the Bees at the Elgin Eastside Neighborhood Garden

Come stop by Elgin Eastside Neighborhood Garden for World Honeybee Day and Meet the Bees! 

Learn about bees, pick up a seed bomb kit and instructions, buy a bird house to support the gardens and learn about growing, gardening and honeybees in your neighborhood. 

Meet beekeeper Konni Vukelic and honeybees raised on a local farm that helps being honey and vbeggies to your local farmer's market. View bees safely in an observation hive and get the buzz on bees. 

This is a free community education event. We hope to inspire future gardeners, beekeepers and foodies of the future. Learn to understand and connect to food and community and the impact it has.

We will have a small sampling of Three Bees favorites for sale at the event.
