About the event

Join Us and learn to make lacto-fermented vegetables. We will ferment vegetables in season. Each participant will receive a starter kit and leave with a jar ready for ferment.

We will explore a variety of fermented foods in our Fermented Fridays series.

Eating fermented foods introduces live probiotics and beneficial postbiotics to your digestive tract.

This process used by cultures globally to preserve food which boosts your gut microbiome diversity, crowds out harmful microbes, and enhances your overall nutrient absorption.

Scientific consensus highlights four primary benefits:Lower Inflammation: Regular consumption of items like kimchi, kefir, and yogurt has been clinically shown to decrease inflammatory proteins in the blood.

Better Digestion: The fermentation process predigests complex carbohydrates and proteins. For instance, the bacteria in fermented dairy break down lactose, making it easier to digest for those with sensitivities.
